The other day I was with a friend and his little son on a little road trip to visit the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany. Miniatur Wunderland is the largest model railroad in the world and it is for sure very big. I am not sure who was most excited about the visit, but I think we all was having a good time there 🙂 We was there for hours and there was just so much to watch. At the moment Wunderland has 8 sections, but they are expanding for the next years to come. Each section represents its own location e.g. America, Hamburg, Scandinavia, Switzerland, a big Airport and Austria. I took a lot of pictures there and would like to share some of them here on my blog.

Seriously cool looking place. Reminds me of Legoland, but this looks like it might be better.
Wow, this looks brilliant and just the right size for a little bear to go around 😉

I am sure you would love it there. I could use all day there and it is all indoor so you can stay warm and dry 🙂
That is incredible. I wish I could see it in person. Very impressive!

Hi Thomas,
This is really fantastic. Is there an entrance fee to see this work of art? Is it open only on business days? I look forward to your response.
When I first saw miniature wonderland, I was amazed instantly. It is just unbelievable. A lot of people had put a lot of effort to build this wonder and it is definitely worth it. I am looking forward to actually see it.
Hi Kevin
It must have been a massive work to put all that together, but also kind of fun. I am sure that you will not be disappointed when you visit. Remember to bring your camera.
Great! It is just unbelievable. I am looking forward to actually see it.
I visited the site from the link you posted, if ever I am in Hamburg that is a must place to visit. It has approx 930 trains!…… I wonder how many are running at any given time?

Thomas- this is SOOO COOL! I need to visit sometime, and bring my family! It looks like such an intricate design and construction process- you have my respect as a fellow construction worker!
Wow. They are amazing. They look like they are real and full size.
